To a special Grandma

Morning all, back to share another recent order. The lady had seen one of the cards I made for mothers day and asked if I could make up similar for her children to give to their Grandma. Luckily I had another topper from LOTV art pads and everything else was from my stash. The sentiment is computer generated and the embossing folder is one from Crafters companion.

Linseys First Day at School!

Morning all, back to share another card, the title probably has you thinking who is linsey!! Well she is a friends little girl who is super cute! My friend asked me to make a card for Linsey for her first day at school. I used this super cute image from Pink Gem, I coloured it up with copics and coloured the shoes red as Linsey has some lovely red school shoes!! (I wish I had red shoes!)

Thats all for today.

Yummy cakes & Macaroons!

Morning all, I wanted to share some yummy cakes and Macaroons!
I could just murder a cupcake .... but the diet says otherwise ... over 2 stone lost and still going strong!
Anyway enough of that, todays card is (suprise suprise) another mothers day card! I used one of the images from the LOTV Art pad. I embossed the background and added ribbon, gems and flowers.

Flowers ... and lots of them!

Morning all, hope everyone is ok. Todays card is one I made a while back using one of the images from the LOTV art pads. I love the colours on this so kept it fairly simple. The background is embossed and I added some flowers, pearls and a scallop border to the top and bottom.

Boquets in purple!

Morning all, back again to share yet another mothers day card!

This one is again using one of the sheets from the LOTV Artpads! Keeping it clean I embossed a white panel and mounted it on purple, adding a sentiment, ribbon, pearls, a scallop layer and plenty of blooms to finish it off.

A Challenge! A joint 30th, for male and female!

I had a request from one of my regular customers, he wanted a joint 30th birthday card, he game me the names and left me with it. I sat for a while wondering how I would make a card for both male and female to share and it still look good ... then the penny dropped ....
Some simple embossing, some numbers cut on the cricut (after I dusted it off) a bit of jiggery pokery and voila!

Male side ....

Female Side ...

Names in the centre and mixed the papers behind

Picture of the back of the centre to write in, with ribbon attached to close the card.

Front view when closed

He loved the card, as did the people in the office where he worked!

Jingle Bells x 2!

Are you bored with all of the christmas cards yet?? don't worry the end is near!! ... I have a few more to make then thats it for this year! This one I again made a while back, used papers from Echo park, the wording is a stamp by woodware, simple paper pieced card!

I did the same for this one, but only mounted this one once.

Check back tomorrow for a post for Funky Hand!

Snowman!

Morning, I seem to be in full christmas swing! I made some of these a while back but haven't had a chance to blog them, just a couple more to show then I might start sharing some non christmas ones!!

This one was very quick and easy! An embossed panel mounted, then a pre coloured topper and adding just a small offcut of paper which was otherwise destined for the bin! I added some glitter to his scarf, and some flowers and gems.

Seasons Greetings from Oldmeldrum

Back to share some christmas cards I have made up to sell locally. The one thing in the surrounding areas which really stands out is Bennachie, this is the view you can see everywhere you look ...

So I opted for a simple design (due to making lots and lots!) featuring Bennachie! I had a template made by Scott from Revolv3d 3d Printing in Aberdeen, then used that to mark on the mountain before heat embossing!

I made up packs of 5, each a different colour, blue, silver, gold, red & green. They look better in real life!!
