Yummy cakes & Macaroons!

Morning all, I wanted to share some yummy cakes and Macaroons!
I could just murder a cupcake .... but the diet says otherwise ... over 2 stone lost and still going strong!
Anyway enough of that, todays card is (suprise suprise) another mothers day card! I used one of the images from the LOTV Art pad. I embossed the background and added ribbon, gems and flowers.

Thats all for today! Back tomorrow

Funky Hand - Just for Jen - Mothers day!

Morning all, hope everyone is ok?

Todays card uses one of the pre coloured toppers from LOTV matched with some papers from Funky Hand. I love these papers they are part of a download called Just For Jen.

I mounted everything on grey bazzill and added some flowers and a sentiment. Nice and simple but looks lovely!!

Mothers Day flowers

Morning all, its Tuesday and a new challenge over at Ladybug Crafts Ink. This weeks challenge is Easel Cards.

I haven't joined in with this challenge as I have had to take a little break from my DT commitments for personal reasons, but I will be back soon!

Instead I am boring you with showing you more mothers day cards.

I love this combo, I love how the red works so well in the image too! the image is one from one of the LOTV artpads.

Forever Friends ...

Good morning

Sorry if I am boring you with my mothers day cards, I did say I had made 24!!! This one came from a kit I bought from MMCS, unfortunately the postman also liked the A4 paper kit so I had to wait a little longer to buy a replacement!! The rest of the elements were a complete bargain though! I really enjoyed the decoupage for these and the papers are so pretty!

Everything is from the kit, apart from the flowers which you can also buy from MMCS! First time I have used them! eek!

Thats all for today!

Happy Mothers Day from your little monster

Morning all, back with another mothers day card, this one isnt all pink and flowery though, I used the little monsters kit from Nitwits and decoupaged the monster on the front, the sentiment is computer generated and I found some really old flowers in my stash which went perfectly!!

Thats all for today!

Boquets in purple!

Morning all, back again to share yet another mothers day card!

This one is again using one of the sheets from the LOTV Artpads! Keeping it clean I embossed a white panel and mounted it on purple, adding a sentiment, ribbon, pearls, a scallop layer and plenty of blooms to finish it off.

Thats all for today! Back tomorrow!

Birdhouses & Blooms

Morning all, back to share yet another mothers day card this one is totally not my style at all!!

FLOWERS everywhere!!

I bought this artpad from LOTV knowing I wanted to use it for mothers day cards as they are perfect, but I knew I would struggle. There are lots more cards from this pad to come!!

Keeping it clean I didnt use any papers, I just mounted some white cardstock onto some yellow, added lots of pearls and flowers and a sentiment. I LOVE how it turned out!

Thats all for today, back tomorrow with my halfway post from LCI!

Love you mum!

I don't normally blog at the weekend but I am filling in for Anice. I also posted on the Get funky blog here.

Today I want to share a card I made using the new mothers day downloads available from Funky Hand! There are 3 to choose from, one for MAM, one for MOM and one for MUM!

I stupidly printed out the wrong one as I wanted to use MOM but wasnt paying attention so we ended up with MUM!

I kept it nice and simple so you could see everything, I mounted the papers on a deep green cardstock to make them pop, I wasn't sure if it would work but I think I pulled it off! I added 3 small flowers and some pearls to finish it off nicely!

The kits are great because they contain everything you need to make a nice card, or more! you can just add embellishment if you want to!

Thats all for today, back on Monday!

Have a lovely weekend!

Loopy Blooms for Mothers Day!

Morning all, another mothers day card from me for today, this time slightly different, I love these dies from MFT but struggle to use them. I dug out another old die (loopy bloom) and cut some felt and added to the front!

Nice and Simple :)
