So Kind.

Morning all, back with another card to share. This one I made for a neighbour. The paper is actually card stock from Bo Bunny, I have had it in my stash for years and slowly working my way using it up. I decided to use it as patterned paper rather than covering it up! I mounted it on brown card stock which you cant properly see here.  The image is papertrey ink, and the lace is some from a friend a good few years ago! The buttons are from my stash!

Thats all for now, back later!

THNX!

Morning all, I am not a big lover of text speak, however I do think it works on these next 4 cards!! I made these thankyou cards for the boys who came to my sons birthday celebrations! Perfect for 11/12 gaming mad boys don't you think?

I used MFT blueprints for the layout, the papers are from a shop on Etsy (sorry I cant remember the name to link) the controllers are a die and stamp set from Clearly besotted, although as before I added tiny gems to the image to give them the coloured buttons like on a real controller!

Thats all for today!

Back later for a christmassy post!

Thankyou

Morning all, back to share another card after a much needed day off! yesterday was my sons birthday and he turned 12! I think it is safe to say he had a fab day! Anyway todays card is one from a short while back. I made this for an order and was given free reign to make a thankyou card! I had just received this lovely MFT die at the time and it was the perfect opportunity to give it a try! Love how it turned out in the end!

Fabulous blooms thankyou - pink

Morning all, back to share another card. This one was one I made a while back for Maddisons rainbow teachers when she left. I did 3 in the same style, the purple one I shared a while back and the yellow one I also shared even longer ago! I love how they turned out. The image is from Ladybug Crafts Ink and is part of the fabulous blooms. Coloured up in copics, a whole heap of glitter thrown at it and some pearls added to the centre of some of the flowers!

Thats all for today. Back tomorrow!

Thanks Coach!

Morning all. Back to share another card. Todays card was a special request, a card for the football coach, in red and black stripes and a larger card (8x8) Well that put me out of my comfort zone straight away. My usual size is 6x6, and sometimes I struggle with larger cards. The image is of course the fabulous Alf from Digistamp Boutique. I coloured him up with copics adding black stripes to his top (Phew that was hard!) The papers are Echo PArk and the sentiment is computer generated!

Thats all for today!

Back tomorrow!

Thankyou

Morning all, back with another card, slowly battling through the backlogs!
Anwyay this one is another nice easy one using up an older MME pad as there were only a few sheets left! For the layout I used MFT dies, and once all layered up I added a simple thankyou sentiment and some pearls.

Thats all for today!

Back tomorrow!

Totally Ladybug Tuesday - CAS

Morning all, its time for another Totally ladybug Tuesday ... except today should be renamed totally forgot tuesday!!

This challenge was set by the lovely Sally, she chose a nice theme of CAS (Clean and Simple!) All of the ladybugs are using Billie Bear images .... well all except the one who forgot about the images! Whoops!! (I also forgot to add it to the DT blog too!)

So for my Billie Bear Cas card this week I used Vase O Blooms I kept it all simple mounting simple stories papers onto Yellow cardstock then adding some Kraft! I blinged up the vase and I added WOS to the yellow flowers and gems to the centre of the white flowers! The ribbon is christmas ribbon from M&S sale (gold and glittery!)

Thats it for now, back later with another card as I forgot to blog yesterday (Can you see a forgetful pattern forming??) Remember to hop on to the challenge blog and join in the fun!

Thankyou Card & Gift Box.

Morning all, its my first ever post on the Funkyhand blog today so hopefully I wont break the blog and all goes swimmingly!

Today I wanted to share a couple of little makes I made using one of the images from  FlutterbyFlowers and papers from Hearts and Flowers.

I made up this cute little card (5x5’) using the papers from Hearts and flowers, they go beautifully together and even better when teamed with the lovely butterfly from the Flutterby Flowers collection. I added a small bow also made up from the coordinating papers and added some gems to finish.

Next up I made this cute little 2.5x2.5 inch box, I used my envelope punch board to make it up but it fits a small packet of Haribo perfectly! I used the offcuts from making the above card so hardly any paper was wasted!

They go perfectly together and are a great little gift!

Thats all for today!

Playing catch up!

I haven't posted anything in ages!! Truth is since we moved things have been crazy busy and we are now at the end of the 6 weeks holiday (they go back tomorrow!) so I can start to play catch up with everything!

So most of you know we moved in June, well the cards I am showing today were the ones I made for the teachers in the old school. (thats how long!!)

5 in total all made up from school related words and even the teachers names! (1 per card)

Really simple and quick to make using a program on the computer (cant remember the name though!) then change the colours and print away! They apparently were impressed!

Back tomorrow with another round of catch up!!

Teachers Thankyou Cards part 2

Morning all, hope everyone is well, just wanted to share the last 4 cards which I made for the children to give to their teachers, some of you will have seen my previous post here. Anyway, I used the same layout and followed the same idea of having 2 identical cards in 2 batches. The papers are all Nitwits, and the image is also from the same range!

Hope you like them!

Thats all for today, the children officially finish reception and year 4 today (2pm)! I can't wait for our holidays and lots of fun over the next 6 weeks!!

Thankyou ....

Just a quick share today as I am inundated with cards which need to be made in advance for DT posts as we are 3 weeks away from our trip to Bulgaria ...

These are 2 of 6 quick and easy makes for the teachers at my children's school, Maddison has 5 teachers/assistants and Thomas has just the one. I am making them in pairs so there will be 2 of each style, the papers are a download from Nitwits, and the image is also from the same range. Here are the first 2.

Now whilst I have your attention I want to share a couple of pictures .... My Step mom called the other day in such a fluster asking us to turn on skype as she wanted to speak to the children. So we called them on skype and she had a surprise for them ... she had got them a present!

I would like you to meet Ellie and Barbie.

This is Barbie, she is 2 days old in this picture so is around 1 week old now! This is Maddisons cow.

This is Ellis, she is 5 days old, so nearly 2 weeks old now and she is Thomas' cow!

Aren't they just adorable?
