Happy Birthday!

Morning all, hope you all had a good weekend. I am back today to share a card I made a few weeks back, I was obviously having some kind of fling with pinks again as I dont *do* pink!! anyway I inked up Nikki! I haven't used her for a while and she suited this card perfectly!! (yes even with all of the pinks!!) I love how the card came out and it was really easy to make up! 

The layout is again using the blueprint dies from MFT and the papers I can't remember who they are from!

Morning all, hope everyone is ok, today is the halfway reminder for Ladybug Crafts Ink. Our challenge is 

For a Special Lady

I used Roadster Nikki again and keeping in with my bright theme I went for bright yellow!! The picture doesn't really show but I used glossy accents on the windscreen and the headlights of Nikkis car! I added a die cut spray of flowers and some Gems. I can't even remember which paper pad I used but I know it is an old one!!

Totally Ladybug Tuesday - For a Special Lady

Morning all, time for another Totally Ladybug Tuesday! This week it was the lovely Julie's turn to choose the challenge she chose

For a special Lady! 

We are all showcasing some of the older stamps, this week we chose Nikki! for my card I chose Roadster nikki.

Bright green!! 

Because I didn't want to use pink, I am all pinked out from the mothers day cards! 

I used papers from an older first edition paper pad, edges them all with ink and added some pearls and flowers.

Ladybug Hibernation!

Morning all, as you know the ladybugs are in hibernation and having a much needed break until feb but our current challenge of Clean and Simple is still in full swing! I made this card to keep me on track for tuesdays.

I used Winestool Nikki for this one, coloured with copics and teamed with some old basic grey papers. The flowers are prima, the brads are from my stash and the sentiment is a really really old (from when I first started crafting) Daisy and dandelion sentiment

Totally Ladybug Tuesday - Pink + 1, Laurie Style!!

Happy tuesday people!! 

Its time for another Totally Ladybug Tuesday and this week it was time for our lovely Laurie to choose a challenge .... now Laurie must totally hate me as she chose the worst challenge for me, ever!! 

Pink + 1!! 

I hate pink with a passion, but every time I make a pink card the comments I get are amazing! 

So onto my card, I figured as I was being tortured into using pink that I would bend the rules a little (or rather just plain ignore them) as Kerry had asked us to use 1 of 2 new images available in the store Valentine Billie, and Tic Tac Love so I used a Nikki Instead!!

Totally Ladybug Tuesday ~ BINGO! & Release!

Good morning all, time for another Totally Ladybug Tuesday! 

This week our lovely ladybug Catherine chose the challenge and she set the challenge as BINGO! 

Catherine is a lover of all things pink, and knowing I hate pink I am sure she set this challenge just for me!! (Thanks Catherine!) However I haven't made a pink card .... Also the exciting news is that Nikki has gone digital! You can now get some of your favourite Nikki characters in Digi format!! 

So now onto my non pink card .... I used Winestool Nikki, which is one I don't even have in rubber so perfect for me as the ladybugs always make such elegant cards with her, you can get her here.

See, only a teeny bit of pink in the flowers, gems and butterfly. I used papers from craftwork cards, added a diecut border and lots of glamour dust to Nikki's dress, shoes and champers! 

Then lastly but not least, Head Ladybug Kerry has gone swanning off in search of the sun, so whilst  she is away there is a BLOWOUT sale on ALL rubber stamps!!

Time for another Totally Ladybug Tuesday, this one seems to have taken ages to come around!! So todays challenge was chosen by our lovely ladybug Pami, and she chose

Paper Piecing

So for my card I dug out Chatty nikki, and some really really old papers which I dont think I have ever used before from DCWV.

I did just a small bit of paper piecing to the footstool or poof as we used to call them when I was growing up! I added some bakers twine through a button and some small flowers and a sentiment. All in all it didn't take long to make, but there is still something missing! (Or maybe my mojo is still on holiday!)
