Morning, back to share a valentines order. This one I actually remembered to take a photo of, I was in a hurry to get some of them posted and sent out so they could arrive in plenty of time and realised after that there was a baby card and about 5 valentines cards I hadn't taken photos of! Doh!!! I was asked for a card, they are both coffee lovers so this fitted the bill! I dig out my stampin up coffee cups, some fancy pants papers and made this!

Morning back with another valentines card. This one is different to my usual ones as instead of an image the image is writing! 

Now pretty much everything on this card was free!! the papers and sentiment (image) were part of a freebie in a recen tmagazine, the ribbon I was given by a friend who could no longer use it, and the card candy was also given to me. the black card from my stash and the card blank was the only thing I purchased! 

I would love to enter this card into the Daring Cardmakers Feb inspiration challenge.

Morning all, I was playing around with some nitwit kits the other day and came across this cute Valentines Puppy. I also used papers from the kit, brown gingham which I wouldn't usually use for a valentines card but it works on this card. I added a few flowers and pearls and added a stamped sentiment.

Morning all, just back to share the opposite colours of the card I shared yesterday, I couldn't resist making them up like this!! So effective!

Todays card is where it all started with the not my usual style valentines!! 

It is the one I started making, before all of the others, and is the one I will be giving to Paul! 

I really love how it turned out, and it has inspired me to make a whole heap of other cards in a similar style!

Morning all, another card to share, this one is a lovey dovey one ... but not my usual style! 

I bought the stamps and die from MMCS on one of the MFT releases and this is the second time I used them!!(the first being yesterday!)  I dug out some older MFT dies which I hadn't used before yesterday (can you see a pattern?) and voila! 

LOVE how this turned out in the opposite colours to yesterdays!!!

Valentines

Morning all, todays card is a super quick valentines card! This one I used a pre coloured topper from The hobby house, I love these as they are so different and so easy to use! I teamed it with some papers from Bo Bunny andded a bie cut border.

LOTV Distressed Valentines!

Morning all, hope everyone is ok. I am back to share a card I made that is a bit different for me. This one is using one of the art pads from LOTV so the image is already coloured up. I distressed all of the adges all the way around each layer including the image and sentiment. I love the effect although I dont do it very often as sometimes I think it can look messy too!! I enjoyed it this time though!

My Mums Craft shop challenge

Teeny Tiny Valentine ....

I made these 2 little 2.5"x2.5" cards very quickly last week the kids woke up on valentines asking lots of questions (mainly little madam) so I made up these cute little cards for the kids from Paul and I. 

Very simple and very very quick to make. the image is part of the MFT valentines release and the heart is a die which matches the stamp set. The stitching is also one of the stamps available in the set.

Whimsy Inspiration - Valentines

Time to for a little Whimsy inspiration. For this weeks card I cheated a little and used a cute little extra which you get with Raggedy Boy & Raggedy Girl, from StampArt Design. I made it into a cute, valentines card, well actually 2! 

I kept it simple using only 2 colours, I embossed the back panel, coloured the hearts with copics and added some glossy accents to them. Finishing it off with some ribbon.

And as you can see, they are easy enough and quick enough to make a few!

So for my card today I used this gorgeous image from StampArt Designs which you can find here. He is called Cupid bear. 

Coloured with copics I teamed him with some papers from Bo Bunny, the sentiment is a bonus sentiment that comes with cupid bear. Hard to show in the pictures but his halo, heart, and wings are fully glittered up!

Love You a Latte!!

Morning all! Hope the snow isn't too bad wherever you are, we have a few flakes up here but nothing that seems to be settling or ever worth writing about! 

Today I want to share the card I have made for Paul for Valentines day, my biggest struggle with colouring is animals, trying to get the shading right and the colours right is a big thing for me but this monkey just seemed to work. I even took photos as I went along so I know how I did it, but if anyone else wants a look you can find it here. 

So my monkey .... he is from CC Designs and I love him!! 

Chose this image cause it wasnt too girly and smoochy plus I knew what sentiment would be perfect ... 

See the red sticking out the side? yep I did something totally new for me ..... and it caused me problems! My brain didnt work properly the first 2 attempts, but third time lucky (and armed with coffee) 

The heard spins too! How cute?? Not a clue where I can write something though so guess I need to do it on the back!!
