Totally Ladybug Tuesday Challenge Blog Launch!

Hello Everyone...well it's a big day today here at the Ladybug Crafts ink Challenge blog .
Not only is it our very FIRST challenge but Kerry also has a new release of stamps and we are having a Blog Hop to celebrate !!
Double the chance to win a prize!!

Firstly the Hop.. all the DT have not only had to use the challenge theme , but they have also used the new images . There are 5 in all and I think you will agree when you see their creations the new images are just fabulous! (none of the DT have seen each other's cards so we cant wait to hop either!)

So onto the rules of the Hop - which are...

a) Visit each of the DT members in order and leave a comment on each of their blog hop posts.
b) Leave a comment at the bottom of this post telling us which is your favourite image.
c) Display the blog hop banner which is at the top of this post on your blog either in a post or on your side bar.
The Prize is all 5 images in the new release

Easy eh?

The hop will close 9am GMT on Monday 8th NOV and the winner will be announced at 9am GMT on Tuesday 9th NOV.

The first stop along the hop is  MARY J

If you get lost here is the order  -
Tams - <-------You are here :)

Now onto the challenge....over to Mary who will tell you all about it....

Hello all and thank you so much for joining us today - I am very excited as it's the first time I've ever set a challenge.  Be kind, I'm new at this...!  So onto the challenge and it's a sketch with a twist!  As some of you will know, I have been making an extra effort over the last few months to decorate the inside of my cards for that extra finishing touch and I want you to do the same for this challenge!  Here is the sketch...

Now you can do whatever you want with it - any theme, any colours, flip it, embellish it, add the image anywhere!  As long as the general format can be seen and you decorate the inside of the card, anything goes!  I hope you can join in and can't wait to see what you do with it!

Just a quick reminder of the rules which are also in the sidebar -You will be able to use any image that you would like, but you will only be entered to win the main prize of

 ONE  Ladybug CraftsInk stamp

if you have used a Ladybug Crafts Ink image on your card, however you will still be in with a chance of being in the Top 3 who will receive a badge for their blog.

If you do not have a blog - just email us a picture of your card/project before the closing date at the email address in the side bar.

So don't forget, you have 2 chances to win... you can JUST enter the hop, or JUST enter the challenge or if you are game - enter them Both!

Whatever you choose ... good luck from all the Lovely Ladybugs!

Soooo after all of the boring rules and regulations (haha I will be shouted at for that!!) Here is my card!

I used papers from DCWV The Old Stack on the front and the inside. The image is one of the fab new ranges from Ladybug Crafts Ink and you can grab yours from here (Remember Kerry has a fab discount voucher which can be found on the front page of her shop!)
I used my Martha Stewart around the page punch for the fancy corners and across the card. My image has been coloured in using a mix of promarkers and Copics and I had a slight accident where I went over the little doggy in a light grey promarker (after colouring him in with copics) and his brown leaked!! ... however I am very happy with this effect as it just looks like a dirty smudge on the path! woohoo! I used Glossy accents on the shape on the window, the red shoes inside the window and on the brown boots, I used glamour dust on the blue shoes in the window, Nikkis bag and made the hat to match! Am I happy with my card? well after all of the blood, sweat and tears over the several images I did to get on right then yes I am!!!
Stay tuned for our next challenge ...
