Fancy a game of Hide n Seek?

I am about to be well and truly whipped if Heady Ladybug Kerry reads the whole of my blog post ...

Do you fancy a game of Hide N Seek?

Little Jack does, and he is such a cutey, I have had him since he was released last year from Ladybug Crafts Ink, but no matter how many times I inked him up and coloured him, it just didn't look right!, so when Kerry asked us Ladybugs if we could make her some samples I set myself a challenge to do just that! I actually started this card just before Christmas but then my mean nasty OH made me clear the table so we could have Christmas dinner LOL

Soooooo

I chose the papers, made the layout, then inked up little Jack. I for the first time ever, managed to colour him in and actually like how I coloured him!

I took (a very blurry!) close up of the image, I have coloured him using a mix of promarkers and copics, then inked in blue around the edge of most of the circle and sponged the image to give it a sky effect. Then I used a green ink pad to edge the bottom of the image and sponged over the grass so it has a patchy feel. I have used glamour dust on the dandelion clock, the ladybird and the centres of the flowers.

I left the card without a sentiment, but went with a simple number 4 (sentimental numbers) which I stamped in the same Green ink as the grass and then edged again in green, I did slip a little so there is a small smudge but it adds to the effect!

And do you know what .... I am actually quite proud of my effort ... but Shhhh don't tell anyone as they might think I have a tiny ounce of confidence! LOL

I will be back tomorrow with a cutey little girl who like Jack has never been coloured, but I also used a new technique! yay go me!

So there you have it, my first ever card using Hide and Seek Jack!

I'd like to enter this project into the following challenges:
