Card from my talented friend!

A short while ago, I asked my lovely talented friend sarah if she would make a valentines card for me, from Paul. My poor Paul doesn't get a chance to get to any shops until the weekends by which time everyone has generally panic bought and the rest is tat! So I asked her to make me something for him to give to me. This is what she came up with ...

Inside Sarah had added a beautiful wooden heart to the box!! Absolutely gorgeous, don't you think?

If you haven't spotted Sarah's fabulous work before then hop on over and say HI!

Now I know it is valentines today, but with Paul working hundreds of miles away it is just impossible, so we always have a meal on the saturday night. I didn't get as many pictures this year as I did last, but I did make my first ever pie!!! .... ok so yes I am proud ...

First up was buffalo mozzerella & Chilli Crostini (no pic)

Followed by

Steak and guinness pie

Followed by

Toffee apple Pudding! (this took forever to make, with steaming the condensed milk and freezing the pastry but it was so worth it if you have a sweet tooth!)

And yes there is 2 little ones in the background, I had some pastry left over so made a small one each for my MIL & FIL.

All recipe's are available from Jamie Olivers Website!

Hope everyone has a lovely day!
