Totally Ladybug Tuesday ~ My challenge - Sketch!

Time for another Totally Ladybug Tuesday!! bet you never thought I would have bounced back quite so quickly, but I am back!! although still taking it very easy!

So onto this weeks challenge ... time for me to have a go and I chose a sketch designed by Maya Stenshagen

And here is my take on the sketch

I inked up Wellies Robyn, and paper pieced her brolly to match. I added glossy accents to the water and raindrops. I used a MS zig zag punch, and papers from Pctober Afternoon. The sentiment is from the it's only words 4 pack.

And then just cause I can ... I topped the back with my new funky stamp!!

sorry just had to show it off lol

Hope you will hop on over to the challenge blog and join in the fun!!

P.S for the record I never claimed the sketch was mine, and the issue has been rectified. I originally found the sketch on Google. Please if you have nothing nice to say then contact me by email instead of leaving nasty comments!

Good to see you back, Tams and with such a brilliant card, it's like a colour explosion, can I put this down for the green and yellow challenge on MSE?

Hi Tams your card is absolutely gorgeous, I love your choice of backing paper and that you paper pieced the brolly, I haven't had a go at that yet! Just read Kerry's blog post - don't let anything get you down, you haven't done anything wrong!
Love your funky personalised stamp on the back, can I ask where you had it made please?
Hugs Laurie x

Morning Tams - I follow your blog through Kerry's blog and have to say I was saddened this morning how some people can get a 'kick' out of being nasty - I love your cards and reading your blog - don't be disheartened by this just carry on doing what you are doing and brightening up my day.
Hugs Susan x
PS Would love to know where you had yoru personalised stamp from ?? ;-)

Hi Tams, some people have nothing nice to say don't let them get you down, they are just empty vessels making a lot of noise. I'm sure at some time or another we have all inadvertantly forgotten to give credit to someone for thier inspiration. We don't do it out of malice, we do it because we are falible human beings who make mistakes!

By the way I'm glad you are feeling a bit better.

Your card is fabulous and I love the new stamp on the reverse. I hope you don't mind me asking where you got it - I would love something similar myself as its always nice to put your mark on your work but sometimes a sticker just doesn't do the trick.

Take care, keep your chin up,

Alison

I've just read Kerry's blog and oh Tams what a shame, after what you've just been thro too, you poor thing! People can be so nasty and the best thing to do is you dont know these people so don't let their nastiness get you down, you are a good person!! I blame google for making it too easy to cut and paste!

Your card is gorgeous and I love your paper piecing! But I really love your personal stamp, did you create this yourself, its lovely and yes sooo much better than the stickers I print on my pc!!

Big hugs Roni :O) xox
