My girlys birthday card - No 1 of 4 ...

My little girly is turning 4 in a couple of weeks ... and I need to make 4 cards for her, one from Paul and I, one from Thomas, one from my dad and step mum, and one from my mum and step dad! Phew! So this one I wanted to try something different, I have no idea what you call the style of card, but I know I enjoyed making it, and love how it turned out!

The papers are MME Lime twist, the image is from Karens Doodles, the sentiment is from Ladybug Crafts Ink and everything else was from my stash. The smalled wooden butterfly came from a pack of 10 in the sale at hobbycraft ages ago, I think I paid about 12p for the pack!

The image is set back on the back of the card, and I folded some strips of paper and added them to the 2 edges so it stood forward. (The lacy scallop circle is a magenta colour not red like it looks!)

What do you think? I reckon she will love it, as she stole the other image like this that I coloured the other day and used it in her dolls house!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
