My Dads fathers day card.

My Dad is a Leeds United supporter (Who are they I hear you shout? Exactly!) Anyway I found this image which was sent from the lovely Rainmac, I thought it was perfect for my dad! I coloured him in Promarkers in the Leeds colours then went from there! I decided to dig out the nesties and cuttlebug to shape the image, then I cut another one which was slightly bigger in blue and another in yellow. To try and change the effect I mounted the image on the blue which was turned 90 degrees, then mounted the blue on the yellow which again was turned 90 degrees, I quite like the effect! The Net I made from an old washing tablet bag! (amazing what household bits and bobs come in useful!!) It is the first time I have used staples!!

Not sure if I need to print out a sentiment which says fathers day? I was thinking something in the form of a ticket, maybe one saying fathers day and the other saying admit one? I will have to have a look and see if I can find something suitable.

Edited to add:

Found what I wanted to find, thanks to Melissa for the nudge in the right direction! I edited 2 ticket tags which were found on a different blog and then printed them out and added them by stapling them together then hiding that under the mounted nesties!! I think it looks great now, hopefully my dad does too as it is now in the hands of good old posty to deliver it to Bulgaria!

Brilliant idea Tams! I love the way you've tilted the nestie labels to give more impetus to the colours & the net is genius. As you say, Leeds Who???? They pinched our manager & I wasn't happy but now I'm glad all over.
