Quick fix!

So yesterday my mother in law (the nice one!) told me it was her Dads birthday today!!! He has had a rough time of it lately and is currently in hospital. He had his leg removed a couple of months ago, then had a heart attack and is currently in again cause the carers weren't giving him his insulin which has resulted in half of his other foot being removed (I am so mad!!!) anyway I sat with the children last night and got them making a little card each for Grandad (these will be finished later on before we head out to the hospital to visit) and also a little badge each for him to wear.

I started to panic as I couldn't think of something to make him which didn't make me feel guilty for making cards with people on with 2 legs ... but then figured that there was no way around it unless he wanted a nice flowery card .... I grabbed more Lilli of the Valley diecuts and have made this fabby (yes I do like a card of my own!) card!

Papers - DCWV Guy stack
Tools - Nesties (the ones I didn't buy again honest!) scalpal, MS punch
Sentiment - Craftwork cards
Numbers - Ladybug Crafts Ink (buy them here)
Die cut image - Lilli of the valley
