The lovely Toms Mum over at MSE set the challenge this fortnight!
The challenge is Back to Basics!
Imagine you're just starting out with your card making and you haven't got much in your stash, see what you can do with the minimum amount of stuff.
1) Try and use card stock that doesn't need covering with backing papers (but they're not excluded).
2) Stick to just two or three things to put on, I put two - the stamped image and the ribbon.

Here is my attempt! I had to use papers as I have no pretty/embossed envelopes. However I have kept it to a minimum. I used 1/4 of a sheet of paper, my scallop and plain oval nesties, 1 4x4 card black and my stamp.
Papers: DCWV Sweet Stack
Stamp: Inkadinkado Thankyou

That is amazing! I didn't think anything that was described as "basic" or "simple" could look so gorgeous. Don't know about giving any newbies inspiration, it has certainly inspired me!
